SUMMARY:Americana Craft Fair on the Westhampton Great Lawn
DESCRIPTION:In honor of America’s Semiquincentennial\, the 250th Anniversary of the birth of our nation\, The Greater Westhampton Historical Museum will be hosting a fair on the Great Lawn featuring the crafts of yesteryear. The fair is slated to run from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM and will include basket weaving\, historic cooking demonstrations\, wool and flax spinning\, farm animals\, broom-making\, candle making\, and more crafts associated with American life circa 1776. The fair is free to attend\, although donations are most welcome\, and the Museum will be on hand with our books\, t-shirts\, hats\, and other items for sale to support our programs. If the stars align\, there may also be tours of the historic Dix Windmill on offer! \nPlease plan to stop by the Great Lawn on May 30th to enjoy learning about American Crafts and life in 1776\, This family-friendly event will have something for all ages to enjoy! \n \n

SUMMARY:Anchors Away: Our Annual Opening Gala
DESCRIPTION:The 2026 fundraising party for The Greater Westhampton Historical Museum will take place on Thursday\, June11th at the Westhampton Yacht Squadron’s clubhouse at 9 Yacht Club Drive in Remsenburg. This gala event will feature hors d’oeuvres\, a cash bar\, and live and silent auctions from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. As many of you know\, the Yacht Squadron’s food is excellent\, bar prices are reasonable\, and the venue can’t be beat\, especially on a lovely summer evening! \nTickets are $75 (Members) and $100 (non-members) and can be purchased online via Zeffy through the provided link\, or by mailing a check to our address (PO Box 686\, Westhampton Beach\, NY\, 11978).
